I can't offer any solution, but I'm hoping to bypass it if I can find a copy of the permanent key I used on my old PC. There are many players that can play MKV files nearly on all platforms. I have exactly the same problem after installing MakeMKV on a new PC. The MKV format can store multiple video/audio tracks with all meta-information and preserve chapters. Upon reopening the app i can get to the Help and About section. If i had hit OK instead of register it closes the application. Please restart the application for changes to take effect" Once i restart the app then it says "temporary key has expired." etc. Register i can add the key again and it says: "Thank you. or enter a registration key to continue using the current version." Hit OK or Register. Please restart application" Hit OK button and the following popup happens "this application is too old.

The same error appears: "Temporary key has expired and was removed. In the end I have uninstalled/installed the latest Windows version Tried various things and tried various registrations. I have the same problem as of this morning. It almost seems like it's not redaing the keys_hashed file? Is there something I've missed (I checked the file and the few discs I tried are in there - match the label exactly).Īlready discussed in several threads/posts including this thread page: Code: Select all Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT PRESENT' occurred while issuing SCSI command A40.0020.0FF to device 'SG:dev_21:2'Įrror 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT PRESENT' occurred while issuing SCSI command A40.002000800 to device 'SG:dev_21:2'Įrror 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT ESTABLISHED' occurred while issuing SCSI command AD010.080002400 to device 'SG:dev_21:2'Ĭan't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
